Peptone from vegetable I is an enzymatic hydrolysate of vegetable proteins that gives comparable growth promoting properties as animal origin peptone. Free flowing powder. Soluble in distilled water. 1 % aqueous solution remains clear without haziness even after autoclaving at 121 °C for 15 minutes.
Suitable for use as a culture media ingredient in a variety of media as well as for commercial production of enzymes, vaccines, antibiotics and other products. It can successfully replace animal origin peptone in all culture media.
