O princípio da tecnologia MATra
Magnet Assisted Transfection (MATra) é uma tecnologia inovadora de fácil manuseio, rápida e eficiente para transfecção de células em cultura.
Todos os tipos de ácidos nucléicos, linhagens celulares ou cultura primária de células podem ser beneficiadas pela tecnologia. Esta tecnologia faz uso de nano-partículas magnéticas (MagTag™) associadas ao uso de campo magnético sem perturbar a arquitetura da membrana celular.
Duas estratégias estão disponíveis : a tecnologia padrão Magnet Assisted Transfection "MATra-A ou MATra-si Reagents "; para células consideradas críticas ou problemáticas recomenda-se a combinação da MATra technology com lipofecção ("Magnet Assisted Lipofection"), utilizando "MA Lipofection Enhancer " e o reagente de lipoinfecção "IBAfect ".
Todas as tecnologias podem ser aplicadas à células aderidas ou em suspensão. No caso de células em suspensão, estas devem ser imobilizadas temporariamente com o reagente MATra-S Immobilizer .
Especificações da tecnologia MATra
MATra é aplicada à células confluenes em diferentes fases, mas de uma forma geral recomenda-se confluência de 60 - 80%.
MATra não é tóxico para a maioria dos sistemas celulares e é compatível com altas concentrações de soro.
A tecnologia MATra é compatível com robôs para transfecções em larga escala.
